The Amirim non-profit organization was established for the purpose of stimulating mutual respect between the citizens of this country, through a striving for excellence in all walks of life. In higher education institutions Amirim operates a wide-ranging scholarship program; in Druze, Arab, Bedouin and Jewish villages and settlements all over Israel, Amirim runs many diversified programs in the realms of education, road safety, protecting the environment, the advancement of teenagers at risk and providing assistance to the disadvantaged of Israeli society.
Amirim sets into motion dozens of volunteers from all over the country who give their time and their energy in the domains of leadership, management and guidance, go everywhere and cover the entire country.
Until now Amirim has leaned on its own self-support, without any assistance from funds, foundations or government organizations, by maintaining a budget framework and modest operation. Today, with the organization's broadening activities, we need outside help – we need you.
