Youth Empowerment
In recent years, women from the Druze community and Arab sector have been naturally integrating into key positions in public institutions, commercial businesses and advanced educational activities.
Amirim considers the developing of women, in these sectors and in general, a significant value that acknowledges their contribution to improve the general social fabric in the communities in which they are active.
As part of its various activities in the field, the Association runs a project for the developing of women, sponsored by the Ministry of Education. The project is targeted at girls in junior high schools and high schools in the Arab sector. Under the program, the students examine their gender-related identity.
The students analyze the various factors that affect them and learn how to pinpoint the weaknesses and strengths in their personality. While participating in the project, the girls get to know their abilities and draw from their instructors encouragement and motivation to move forward in their lives.
This year, the activity took place in around thirty groups in various settlements in the northern region. Next year, it will be expanded to other areas.
