Amirim for Life
Traffic accidents all over the country and especially in rural settlements are identified today as one of the greatest dangers to residents of Israel. Every year many are killed in accidents, some of which might have been prevented.
Amirim knows how important it is to promote road safety, starting from kindergarten age. Together with the Or Yarok Association and the Ministry of Transportation, Amirim runs several explanatory programs in a number of settlements throughout the country for students of various age groups.
Expert instructors provide professional driving workshops for young drivers, together with the accompanying parent, in order to instill in them the values of proper driving.
In addition, the students and various volunteers visit kindergartens and schools, where the students benefit from suitable explanations on how to conduct oneself as a pedestrian.
